Collagen tripeptide (CTP) is a functional food material with several biological effects such as improving dry skin and wound and bone fracture healing. This study focused on the anti-photoaging effects of CTP on a hairless mouse model.
CTP differs from conventional collagens - it is absorbed by the intestinal tract directly. Even more surprisingly, CTP has the innovative characteristic of being absorbed by collagen-affiliated organs such as the skin, bones, cartilages, and tendons preferentially.
